Beer description
To compare the work of the yeasts, we fermented it in 4 different tanks with 4 different strains of yeast. This enabled us to choose the most suitable yeast.
This beer holds up well on the palate, round and almost nourishing. Its bitterness is discreet.
Why the Buzzard?
This magnificent bird of prey from our regions has never been chosen to name a beer. Does it lack the nobility of its royal cousin, the eagle?
Yet tirelessly, it watches over our barley and cereal fields, hunting the small rodents that harm the crops. Doesn't he deserve to be recognised by farmers and brewers alike?
That's why the Brasserie Artisanale Broyarde has chosen this bird of prey, the buzzard, to name its brown beer after the colour of its plumage.
