Beer description
Quadrupel with an extract of 30 degrees Plato. The mash for this beer consisted of pilsner malt and our favourite caramel malts. We used a Belgian yeast strain for fermentation, imparting dark fruit and lightly spiced aromas. Quad was aged for 18 months in Jack Daniels barrels. Before bottling, we infused it with almonds, hazelnuts and pecans. Our quadrupel is characterised by notes of caramel, toast and dried dark fruits. In addition, we find flavours of vanilla, coconut and fine alcohol from the barrel ageing. The whole is complemented by a blend of nuts, creating an intriguing combination.
