Beer description
Baltic Porter, a distinctive and characterful Baltic style, served as one of the inspirations for this beer. It's a two-way collaboration, meaning that together with Hidden Springs Brewery we brew a similar base and supplement the beer at the very end to get as close as possible to the popular desserts of the region. In Wrocław, we will try to recreate Guava Pastelitos, a very popular snack in Tampa, while Hidden Springs Brewery will take on a yeast cake with crumble and plums. With a traditional long lagering preceded by a long fermentation, this beer spends over 2 months in the tank. Dark notes are present but not dominant as in an Imperial stout. The raw materials used give a slight sense of sweetness and a distinct clean tropical twang. All this is accentuated by dessert aromas.
