Beer description
Flanders Red Ale BA, finished with Beersel Bretanomyces Blend Winey, dry, fruity wild beer. Brewed in January 2018. Fermented by a mixture of ale yeast and selected Lactobacillus, Lactococcus and Leuconostoc strains. Aged in barrels from Château Kirwan (AOC Margaux). Each barrel held three vintages (2012, 2014, 2016) for 18 months. The must mainly contained the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety with small proportions of Merlot, Cabernet-franc and Petit Verdot. The barrels were inoculated with Beersel Brettanomyces Blend to enrich the profile.
