History dictates that Foreign Export Stouts are brewed at higher ABVs to ensure they can make the journey – to wherever their destination may be. The heavily roasted malts take on an almost burnt and bitter flavour, resulting in hefty notes of intense dark chocolate and roasted cacao. Single hopped with Chinook, it’s a powerhouse of a stout that hits all the iconic stout notes with a little extra oomph.
