Beer description
This smoked IPA is a collaboration between the Braumanufaktur Hertl near Bamberg and Ale Mania from Bonn. Brewed with Pilsner and Munich malt; Simcoe, Mosaic, Summit and Columbus hops. It was brewed in Bonn by David Hertl and Fritz Wülfing. The idea for the beer came from a contest in May 2017 where people could win a box of beer to suggest the best idea for the beer style of collaborative brewing! Patrick Murphy from Bamberg suggested the winning idea.
