The US Edition is a limited release cranked up version of our flagship Poor but Hoppy West Coast IPA. While the normal version is already the hoppiest everyday old school IPA on the German market loaded with Centennial and Simcoe and boasting an IBU in the low 60s, the alcohol is a modest (by American standards) 5.7%. For the US Edition, we cranked everything up so that it would match and satisfy an experienced American craft drinker’s palate: - Stronger at 6.8%! - More bitter at 70+ IBU! - More pine and citrus with 30% more aroma hops! Released on the 4th of July for a true taste of American excess and tradition!
