This year the Reinheitsgebot celebrates its 500th anniversary. Of course we want to celebrate this and present our new beer as a small tribute to the jubilee - the summer sud. Fruity and fresh, hopped with "Mandarina Bavaria", crafted and brewed with love in Cologne. The new product represents an optimal addition to the product range. "We just wanted to show our guests what is possible only with the addition of a special hop of taste and aroma in the beer," explains junior boss Anna Heller. The summer sud is an unfiltered, top-fermented beer with a golden yellow color. Even in the nose, nuances of citrus and mandarin are present, which continue in the taste. The summer bucket is a bit more hopped and has a well recognizable bitterness. At the same time, beer represents the beginning of a regular circulation of special beers. "We already have an idea for the next special beer," says brewmaster Gregor Scharek. The product is, to coincide with the anniversary, available from 23.4.2016 in the catering trade and in the trade in the 0.5l bottle.
