Imperial Porter Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Dates and Spices, then infused with star anise, cinnamon sticks, and candied ginger for sweetness.
The holidays in a glass...if you're from Albuquerque that is. Inspired by the outbreak of biscochito cookies that spread all over New Mexican homes and workplace breakrooms, this Bourbonic Plague variant features sour imperial porters aged in Bourbon and wine barrels for up to two years with additions of dates, vanilla beans, orange peel and cinnamon. After initial maturation, this blend was rested on star anise, candied ginger & more cinnamon!
