The Bruery - Black Tuesday Single Barrel Project (15 Gallon Garrison Brothers Bourbon Barrels)

The Black Tuesday Single Barrel Project is an experiment in purely wood and wort. We laid Black Tuesday to rest in a variety of barrel sizes to showcase the impact of varying wood to liquid surface ratio on flavor, nuance, and complexity. Our Bruers hand-selected barrels from several prestigious craft distilleries for this project, which we introduced and tasted exclusively with our Hoarders members at our 13th Anniversary celebration. Tasting Notes – A tad hot at the moment, the caramel and poached fig notes are most apparent. Hints of bourbon flow through the nose and palate; we expect this to mellow significantly and highlight the exquisite condition of the wood. Read Less
