Beer description
Fracas Imperial Red is a deep purple that borders on brick red. The nose is large grapefruit, with subtle hints of pine, watermelon and honeydew. The hops are just bitter enough to stand up to the sweet malt and caramelized sugar taste of the malt. The roasted barley gives it depth of color without being overly flowing or burnt / hot. The hops in the finish are always present and the taste mimics the nose of the beer. Fracas has a slim, delicate mouthfeel and ends with a nice caramel sweetness without any flabbiness in the body.
