Our master cider makers are never satisfied, even with our best, award winning ciders. They are always looking to raise the cider bar to new levels. They created our award winning Texas Tea cider using black tea and lemon. It was awesome and obviously good enough to win a major world cider award, BUT, our crew was like, “what if we used green tea and added peach?” We’ll, I’m not sure if that’s exactly what they said, but it had to be close, knowing them. A few weeks later and after a bunch of sample brews, they got it right and did just that. Let’s review for anyone who might have got lost, kickin’ base apple cider, green tea and peach. It is naturally sweet and the peach doesn’t overwhelm the tea or the apples. It also has a really nice tang at the finish, but is still clean and very refreshing. No added sugar and no added junk, and this makes for one really awesome cider. BTW, I have to write all of this because our ciders are so simple and awesome, there’s not much else to write. Here’s how some could write it. “Sweet Peach cider using green tea. Tangy finish. Gluten free. Oh dang, I forgot it’s gluten free too. You get the point, it’s more fun reading all of this stuff that rolls off rather than just “it’s good, drink it”. Although that’s true too.
