Birrificio Montegioco Runa Bianca

Wheat beer, spiced with orange peel and coriander (from Montegioco). In the glass it appears opalescent, of a deep golden colour; the nose has the typical notes of Belgian Blanche/Wit, with classic hints of citrus, coriander and bread crust. In the mouth it has a soft entrance, which is soon lightened by a pleasant acidulous freshness, which gives great balance, contrasting the sweetness of the cereal. A very fresh, summery beer, but also very elegant, fine, with a nice retro-smelling presence. Suggested pairings: raw fish, fresh cheese, white meat, grilled shellfish, vegetable tempura.
