Birrificio Montegioco - Rex Grue

Produced with added flowers of Salvia Sclarea (from Montegioco), it denotes a beautiful amber colour, clear, very lively and presents a complex nose, with fruity (citrus and red fruit), caramel, spicy, floral (violet, rose) notes. In the mouth it is very full, soft and full-bodied, highlighting the warmth of alcohol. Long and complex, it has a very articulated path towards a final where the bitterness is atypical, very aromatic, spicy, vegetal; it recalls a bitter with herbs, very long in the aftertaste. Suggested pairings: medium-aged cheeses, lasagne with béchamel sauce, meat stews, fried mushrooms.
