Beer description
Strong Ale of clear Anglo-Saxon inspiration, the glass has a beautiful deep, deep amber colour with ruby reflections. On the nose it is very rich, even if not heavy, highlighting ethylic notes of dried figs, walnut husk, caramel, berries (blueberries under spirit); on the palate it is full-bodied, round, ethylic, powerful, but with a clean finish thanks to the beautiful English hops (East Kent Goldings), enriched by memories of gentian and liquorice. Very long, with a robust aftertaste, in the finish emerge syrupy and mineral notes. Powerful, balanced, structured, very well built.
Suggested pairings: great blue cheeses, stews, game.
