Cangrande Beer is an elegant interpretation of a lightly hopped Bavarian Helles. A golden-coloured beer with herbaceous and acacia honey aromas. Fresh, pleasantly dry and decidedly drinkable. Cangrande is the most famous and beloved of the characters of the medieval Scaliger lordship, the one who made the dynasty of the city of Verona great and important. He was a skilful conqueror, shrewd politician and shrewd administrator as well as generous patron of the arts. Even the supreme poet Dante Alighieri, a friend and admirer of the condottiere, counts him among the characters of the Divine Comedy in a canticle of Paradise. Cangrande, victorious in numerous battles, inspired this Helles with his generous and proud character.
