Beer description
“Torba” is a blend of two Barley wines of which, one is aged 12 months in Brittany oak casks used for whiskey aging, while the other is a Barley wine which has undergone 4 months of maturation in steel. The yeast used for fermentation is a Saccharomyces cerevisiae isolated in our brewery laboratory and now has become part of our private yeast strain collection. It has a beautiful mahogany color with copper hues, on the nose is extremely complex with peaty and caramel notes. Silky but intense in the mouth, with strong whiskey notes. “Torba” is a beer that fully embraces the "slow drinking" philosophy, enjoy it with friends and perhaps with a good cigar!
