Beer description
Blaz is a 4.9% vol. kellerbier with a deep golden colour and fine, white, very persistent foam. It is brewed with German Pilsner malt and a touch of Munich that gives it depth and intense bakery sensations.
The absolute star is undoubtedly the yeast used, which comes directly from Franconia and gives rusticity and palate sensations that catapult you directly into a historic tavern in the rural countryside around Bamberg. The long lagering does the rest, allowing each component to blend to the full.
On the nose we find notes of cereal and a fresh herbaceous note. On the palate it is fragrant, with the cereal aroma exploding in the mouth and blending perfectly with the delicate herbaceous hopiness, which gives balance and streamlines the drink.
