Beer description

Paukenschlag is a beer cuvée made from strong beers from six breweries that belong to the Bierkulturregion Niederbayern community: Brauerei Aldersbach, Apostelbräu Hauzenber, Bucher Bräu Grafenau, Brauerei Hutthurm, Erste Dampfbierbrauerei Zwiesel and Lang Bräu. Deep chestnut brown, aroma of espresso, almond cookies, ripe plums, dried fruit and toffee. A balanced taste of malt, dark chocolate and dried fruit. A subtle sweetness and a light hop note full of character accompany the finish. Goes well with grilled vegetables, juicy burgers, melted cheese and spicy sauces. Paukenschlag also unfolds its broad spectrum of aromas in combination with mild to strong cheeses.
