Beer description
Boogie Monster emerged as an early double IPA in brewery line up, and as a foil to beloved Witchshark. The latter utilizes hard hitting hops more commonly associated with the style, like Cascade and Columbus, whereas Boogie harnesses the super tropical, earthy, blueberry-tinged elements of Mosaic and Citra.
Hazy from intense hopping rate, and fruity as ever, Boogie Monster is back after a hiatus spent jumping out of dark closets and terrorizing humans.
Well-balanced with moderate bitterness, the light malt body of this beer allows the bold and fruity hop aromatics to shine. Notes of green grape, citrus peel and blueberry. Scarily drinkable.
Hops
Citra - HBC 394 aromatic hop, Mosaic - HBC 369 aromatic hop
