Beer description
Cold fermented with a 'hybrid' yeast - meaning an ale yeast that also ferments well at low temperatures - our altbier has a lovely crisp finish that enhances its aromas.
Its malty profile, with hints of bread and caramel, is enhanced by a floral and fruity nose provided by Cascade and Tettnang hops. Gentle cold fermentation and 6 weeks' lagering produce a fine, harmonious profile.
