Beer description
The beer was developed by this year's beer sommelier Simonmattia Riva, Doemens and a Batzen Brewmaster. It contains bitter orange peels and tea flavors through the addition of Indian Assam tea. The malts include Pale Ale, Cara Münch and Amber, and the hops were made from East Kent Goldings and Fuggles. The special beer has an orange-brown color with a slight haze. The few coarse-pored foam is gone in seconds. a delicate smell of tea and orange unfolds. It follows a slim and very quiet Antrunk. The taste is a bit roasted but also very tart immediately. There are also light fruit notes from the orange peel. In the after-drink, besides the hops, you can also taste the bitter black tea, as if you let black tea go for too long. The beer therefore offers three different bitter-bitter ingredients, orange peel, hops and tea. I like that, what bothers me is the roasted note, which does not really fit harmoniously.
