Batemans - Tradition With Ambition

It was in 1874 that George Bateman started the exciting story of his Brewery and here we are over 150 years later with George’s Great-Great-Grand Children, the fifth generation, looking to get involved in the running of our family Brewery. They are as passionate about beer, pubs and independence as the previous four generations. This Limited Edition beer, which has been conditioning in bottle for over ten years, is to toast the Brewery’s colourful past and future successes. Crafted with English pale, crystal and chocolate malts and hopped with English Goldings and Challenger hops. Due to its age and conditioning the beer has a hint of sediment and a fashionable haze - celebrate!
