Brouwerij Emelisse - Barrel Finished #3

The Emelisse Barrel Finished #3 is an Imperial Russian Stout which has been ‘’barrel finished’’ for 4 weeks on Kilchoman whisky barrels. By aging the beer on the Kilchoman barrels for a short time, the whiskey remains subtly in the background which creates an extra dimension. The aftertaste is slightly boozy, what makes this beer a wonderful balanced beer.
