Herslev Bryghus - Barley Wine Barrel Aged 2020

You've emptied our stock of our Barley Wine 2009 and 2010. But now we're finally ready with a new vintage: Barley Wine 2020. Barley Wine 2020 is a malt wine in the traditional way. Vintage 2020 is aged in single malt whisky casks from Stauning Whisky and brewed to develop in bottle, where the depth of flavour will change over the years. The bitterness of the rich hops is evident in the early beer, where you can taste the clean elements. Over time, the expression becomes less sharp, more soft and harmonious. The colour is almost indistinguishable from whisky: clear and dark golden. Enjoy it with dark, rich desserts, chocolate, almonds or red berries.
