Beer description
Made for the 25th anniversary of the VerdeMar Supermarket, Bernardyńskie (Ber-nar-dinh-skii) is an inspiration for an extinct 19th century Prussian recipe from the city of Godzisk Wielkopolski. Its name comes from São Bernardo, the patron saint of brewers. It takes smoked wheat malt in oak, rye and different types of barley malts and is made with Polish hops selected especially for this recipe. A light, complex and balanced ale with subtle smoked notes, light acidity and a final touch of red fruits from the hops used.
