This dark, chestnut-colored Doppelbock is only served in the period from November to the end of January. The elaborate three-mash process, the use of four types of malt and a storage time of 16 weeks ensure the rounded, full-bodied, malt-dominant taste. Despite the high original wort content, the often heavy sweetness of Doppelbock can hardly be felt. The initial taste is mildly full with an accompanying coffee tone, which is dominant in the aftertaste. A real taste experience for winter evenings by candlelight and an open fire!
