Amber, as the name suggests, is also the color and together with fine cloudiness you notice the cream-colored, rich foam. Fine-pored, firm and with fine contours, it holds like a crown in the freshly poured glass. After a short wait, the yeast clouds pervade the glass. The first time the glass is opened, the aroma of fully ripe bananas and a honeydew melon is immediately perceived. After that, with a little delay, a persistent, harmonious caramel scent reaches the nose. With the first sip you immediately taste a strong, particularly pleasant fruity banana aroma. Soft and almost velvety, the Bernstein Weisse spreads tingly and finely in the mouth and fills it with the lightness of the taste of caramel. The finish conveys a wonderful balance of acidity and sweetness with a lingering full flavor. Sniffing the glass again, a fine note of hops is picked up, which was initially not noticed given the strong fruit and caramel notes.
