7Stern - Weizen Classic

This straw-coloured and intensely cloudy example of the style displays a strong banana aroma with a hint of lemon zest. The drink starts with a refreshing liveliness and just a hint of malt sweetness, but the mouthfeel is soft and reinforces an impression of sponge cake - at least you can sense retronasal sponge cake-like flavours. The bitterness is rather low, yet there is a dry finish.
