New England IPA (NEIPA)
Bierstil
Bierbeschreibung
Jim Barnes is someone you need to know: The New Yorker came to us a few years ago and fell head over heels in love with the craft brewery. He quickly decided to start an apprenticeship with us and became part of the Hertl family. But not only that, Jimmy, at 55 years old, is also the oldest apprentice in Germany!
We celebrate Jim, his courage to start anew, and his always sunny disposition with a wonderful New England IPA named "Uncle Jim". This delicious beer has 6.0% alcohol by volume and is brewed with the aromatic hop varieties Amarillo BBC, Citra BBC, and Bru-1 BBC. In addition to the "green gold", we use the holy trinity of barley, wheat, and oat malt. This combination of grains gives the beer an incomparably creamy mouthfeel and lends it its impressive stature.
Uncle Jim is a densely cloudy beer delight in a radiant gold color with a tropical-fruity character and is just as enjoyable as our Jimmy!
