Beer in amber color, no foam. The aroma features a lot of caramel, dark fruit, raisins, figs, a distinct note of a whiskey barrel - vanilla, light coconut. The taste is toffee, raisins, dried fruit, a lot of vanilla, notes of whiskey, a little alcohol. Beer is rather dry, a bit too spicy for me. Alcohol is generally hidden for 13%. Beer could be thicker. Very nice barley wine.
