Dear Tuomas is the Beer Association's annual round prize for meritorious work for beer culture. It has been 25 years since the election of the first Good Thomas, what this beer has been celebrated to celebrate. Tuomas Steam beers are fruity copper-colored bottom yeast beers. The fruitiness and nuance characteristic of steam beer is created when the beer is used at a temperature higher than the normal fermentation temperature of bottom yeast. The traditional hop variety of Northern Brewer has been used to hop the beer, but in addition to that, Amarillo hops are also included to achieve a more modern citrus aroma. Tuomas Steam beer is based on Pilsner malt. The other malts, Münich, Carared and Caramel 150, give the beer its copper color, thick mouthfeel and caramel and bread-like aroma.
