Bierbeschreibung
Medium sized, eggshell-white, creamy and tiny-bubbled, papery lacing, generally stable head; initially clear, warm amberish orange blonde robe with lively sparkling, misty and more 'peachy' with sediment. Aroma of old dried orange peel, sawdust, soggy peanuts, bread crust, dried wormwood leaves, old dusty 'herbes de Provençe', raw parsip, subtler hints of red apple, dried leek, old cotton cloth, a dash of caramel and a whiff of wet earth. Fruity onset, sweetish but restrainedly so, with a slight sourish edge; impressions of unripe banana, green melon and apricot, lively but very 'fine-bubbled' carb so feeling soft as a result, soft and smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel. Slick peanutty and rusk-like malts with a light toasty edge, but much more bitterness comes from the hops of course, a bit grapefruity, wormwoody and leafy, with retronasal dried citrus peel and slight green peppercorn effects
