This haze isn't from New England. At just over 20% flaked oats, Double Oat 7 boasts a slightly cloudy appearance and a silky smooth mouthfeel. A bittering addition of experimental hop HBC 682 and chinook lend an herbal character with enough assertive bitterness to break through the big mouthfeel. A massive dose of chinook is added to the whirlpool followed by 10 pounds of juicy, tropical Idaho 7 whole cone hops into the fermenter for dry hopping.
