2+ years in the making of this complex beast is finally leaving the stores over the next couple of days.
Only 2 barrels produced as founder's side project. Aged in an Oloroso sherry butt for 18 months then transferred to blend whiskey ex rum barrels for a further 6 months and bottle conditioned for 4 weeks. Limited to say the least.
This is massive! Big bold layers of complex dried fruits candied cherry and raisin and toffee aromas, sweet caramel, spicy woody tannin with an earthy rye finish. There is warmth in abundance without being overly boozy. Best served ambient.
Definitely designed for sharing! Drink now or cellar.
