Barrel-Aged Double Dry-Hopped Wild Ale.
Everything is a Barn Owl No. 17 began as a blend of a sour golden ale and a bretty pale ale before being locked away in wine puncheons for extended barrel-aging. The blend was dry-hopped prior to barrel-aging to create a stable, well-rounded hop character -- and then dry-hopped after emerging from the barrel creating a lovely balance between a dank dry-hop, brett funk and a pleasant acidity. Flavours and aromas of pineapple, peach skin and plum.
