Founded by a couple of German origin on January 30, 2010, the Alenda brewery specializes in the production of wheat beers according to the traditional methods used in Bavarian breweries, including the process of decoction and fermentation in open tanks (Dekoktionsverfahren und Garung im offener Bottich).The old Hefeweizen manufacturing method is still used, where the refermentation occurs naturally inside the bottle. Located in Morro Reuter, Rio Grande do Sul, it produces 12 types of wheat beers: Weissbier, Weizenbock, Dunkelweizen, Rauchweizen, Rauchweizendoppebock, Lavender-Weisse, Leichte-Weisse, Walachai, Rauchweizen Eisbock, Sommer-Weisse, Hopfen-Weisse and Bretta -Weisse.
